Gospel Truth

There are few people in the world today who truly understand the bible, or the gospel truth for that matter.  There are many different gospels floating around in the world today, but only one of them is true.  The bible is a very complicated book for many to understand.  Because of this, there are many different interpretations of the bible.  However, the gospel truth is simple.  The bible is clear that we are saved by grace through faith, not of works lest any man should boast, but it is the gift of God.

Does this mean that we can continue in sin and remain pleasing to God?  Absolutely not.  The bible is clear that if we are dead unto sin, we are saved.  However, if we continue in sin, the fruit we bear is evident that we are not indeed saved.  We must stand up for the truth of the gospel.  We must stand up for Jesus and teach people that they need to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Otherwise they are twice dead and plucked up by the roots, according to scripture.  Jesus died for our sin after being conceived of the Holy Spirit.  He then was raised from the dead on the third day for our righteousness.  This is our justification in the sight of God, and the gospel truth.

The bible tells us to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, not to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.  When we have obeyed the truth, the gospel truth, through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, then we are following the gospel truth.  Jesus is sufficient for our salvation, without the deeds of the law.  However, we are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
